The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences at the University of Giessen is a 6-semester, full-time international undergraduate programme in Gießen. Taught in English, the interdisciplinary programme has a strong natural sciences focus and covers Ecology, Nature Conservation and Environmental Protection, and Environmental Science. Students study environmental systems and processes, with topics including climate science, hydrology, life cycle analyses, data analysis, modelling, and environmental monitoring.
Admission is without restriction. Applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency at C1 level. Applicants without a German higher education entrance qualification must also provide a German language certificate.
