The Environmental Sciences Master’s program at Wageningen University & Research is rooted in the natural, technological, and social sciences and uses an interdisciplinary approach to address environmental and sustainability challenges. Students gain insight into the socio-economic causes and characteristics of pollution and environmental degradation, including their effects on humans, the atmosphere, ecosystems, and other organisms. The program also covers the development of analytical tools and models, technologies, socio-political arrangements, and economic instruments for preventing and controlling environmental and sustainability issues. For the 2026/2027 academic year, tuition is €2,694 for EU/EEA students, €21,900 for Non-EU/EEA students, and €15,495 institutional tuition. Language requirements include IELTS overall band 6, IELTS speaking 6, or TOEFL internet-based 80.
