Eligibility and Requirements

• Academic Level: Open exclusively to researchers who hold a PhD in the humanities, social sciences, or cultural studies.
• Career Stage: Designed for postdoctoral scholars with up to six years of experience, meaning your PhD must have been completed in the year 2021 or later.
• National Restrictions: Open to candidates of all nationalities, though German citizens must be currently employed at an international institution to apply.
• Individual Focus: The fellowship is designed for individual researchers, so group or team applications are not accepted.
• Time Commitment: Selected scholars must commit to being physically present at the institute for at least three workdays each week.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent English skills are mandatory, as English is the primary language of communication at the campus.

Required Documents to Prepare

• Detailed Curriculum Vitae: A professional academic resume outlining your educational history, research positions, and academic awards.
• Comprehensive Publications List: A complete record of your published books, journal articles, and academic papers.
• Official PhD Certificate: A copy of your doctoral degree certificate showing your graduation date.
• Structured Project Proposal: A concise description of your planned research project, which must not exceed 5000 characters including spaces.
