The Film & Motion Design Bachelor’s degree is a 7-semester undergraduate program in Berlin, taught in English and combining film production with motion design. Students learn camera and editing techniques, storytelling, directing, post-production, digital techniques, 2D and 3D visuals, dramaturgy, lighting, sound technology, photography, film studies, and film production. The program also covers innovative narrative forms, interactive campaigns, short films, music videos, and cinema spots.
Admission is without restriction. Applicants need a general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, or may qualify through an occupational qualification. A portfolio containing approximately 3–5 cinematic or creative works, proof of English proficiency, a CV with a current passport photo, and identification documents are required.
750 EUR/month for EU/EEA students including Switzerland, Western Balkans and Ukraine; 4,950 EUR/semester for non-EU/EEA students; one-time registration fee of 750 EUR (EU/EEA) or 1,000 EUR (non-EU/EEA)
