Fine Art

The Fine Art bachelor’s programme at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences focuses on contemporary autonomous visual art, combining art theory, research, experimentation, concept development, and practical making skills. Students explore the relationship between art, society, communication, perception, memory, imagination, concepts, and language while developing their own artistic approaches.

The programme provides broad professional training covering applied artistic research, artistic and conceptual development, making skills, communication of artistic work, and entrepreneurship within the arts sector. The programme is taught in English and awards a Bachelor of Arts degree over four years.
