FORESTRY

The Forestry programme is a 3-year full-time bachelor’s degree designed for students who want to work in practical forestry environments while using modern technologies. The programme focuses on forests as living systems, including tree growth, biodiversity, sustainable resource use, environmental protection, economics, digital solutions, and climate-change challenges. Students gain practical experience in forests and work with drones, forest inventory and planning technologies, 3D forest and terrain models, and national forest and environmental data. Specialisations include Multiple-Use Forest Management, Forest Management Planning, and Nature Tourism. A targeted scholarship from the Ministry of Environment of €250 per month is also mentioned.
