About the Programme

The Bachelor’s study programme in Geodesy and Cartography is offered by the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. This full-time programme is taught in Slovak and has a standard duration of three years. It develops knowledge and practical skills in geodesy, cartography, land surveying, cadastre, photogrammetry, geoinformatics, and spatial information systems.

Skills and Career Opportunities

Students develop skills in planning and performing measurements, processing and interpreting geodetic data, creating maps, using modern surveying technologies, and working with geographic information systems. Graduates can pursue opportunities in geodesy, cartography, land registration, construction, agriculture, environmental services, engineering, and public or private-sector organisations. They may also continue to a second-cycle degree in Geodesy and Cartography.
