Investment Planning in Industrial Enterprise

The Investment Planning in Industrial Enterprise programme is a full-time bachelor’s study programme offered by the Institute of Management of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU). The programme focuses on economics and management, with particular emphasis on investment planning, industrial enterprise management, long-term financing, investment project evaluation, cost optimization, controlling, logistics, and production process management. Students develop analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills applicable to industrial and business environments.

Study Structure and Learning Outcomes

The programme has a standard duration of 3 years and is taught in English. Students gain knowledge of investment financing, investment risk analysis, financial planning, cost management, and the evaluation of investment opportunities. The curriculum also addresses technical and technological processes, business operations, information systems, and relevant legal and economic principles in the Slovak Republic.

Graduates are prepared to analyze investment decisions, develop financial plans, evaluate business risks, optimize company costs, and support strategic and operational management. Potential career paths include business economist, investment planning specialist, cost calculation specialist, controlling specialist, statistics specialist, and other management or business-related roles. The planned intake capacity for the 2026/2027 academic year is 20 students.
