What the program is

The Management PhD programme at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is designed for highly motivated doctoral students pursuing advanced research in management. The programme combines doctoral studies, independent research, international academic activity, and preparation and defence of a doctoral dissertation.

Study structure and opportunities

The programme includes 30 ECTS of doctoral studies, with 3–4 study modules and opportunities to complete 1–2 modules abroad. Doctoral candidates are expected to present research at at least two international conferences and publish at least two scientific publications based on their research. Tuition, funding and intake

The programme lasts 4 years full-time. Tuition is €0 per year (free) for both EU and non-EU citizens. Lithuanian state scholarships are listed at €1,406/month in the first year and €1,628/month in years 2–4, with additional scholarships and grants available for doctoral studies, research, and academic mobility.
