Marine Navigation

The Marine Navigation program at Lithuanian Maritime Academy is a 4-year full-time college-level Bachelor’s program leading to a Professional Bachelor of Marine Technologies and a Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Officer in Charge of a Navigation Watch. The program focuses on ship navigation, modern computerized navigation systems, maritime technologies, and engineering knowledge related to the global shipping industry. Studies include training with modern navigation simulators, cooperation with maritime companies, guest lectures, field trips, and 12 months of practical training on board ships.

The program requires a minimum B1 level of English proficiency, a secondary education certificate and relevant state examination certificates, along with a medical certificate for seagoing studies. Tuition is €3,120 per year for EU citizens and €3,900 per year for non-EU citizens. Studies begin in October, with an application deadline of July 31. An admission fee of €100 is also stated as non-refundable.
