Medicine

The Bachelor’s programme in Medicine at Maastricht University combines knowledge, skills, and professional attitude through authentic tasks based on the medical profession. Students work from the beginning in small learning teams, supported by teachers and learning team coaches, creating an active and interactive learning environment. The programme prepares students for their future medical profession while also supporting their personal development.

The programme is taught in English and leads to a Bachelor of Science with 180 ECTS credits over 3 years. Almost all students continue to a Master’s in Medicine after completing the bachelor’s programme. The 2026/2027 tuition fee listed for EU/EEA students is €2,694 per year.
