MSc in Flood Risk Management-Master at IHE Delft Institute for Water Education

What the program is

The MSc in Flood Risk Management is a multiple-degree joint Master of Science programme offered by IHE Delft Institute for Water Education in cooperation with the Technical University of Dresden in Germany, UPC Barcelona in Spain, and the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. The programme focuses on flood risk management through an international, multi-institutional study structure.

Study structure and requirements

The programme awards 120 ECTS and is taught in English. Students begin at the Technical University of Dresden in Germany, continue to IHE Delft for the second semester, then move to UPC Barcelona and the University of Ljubljana for the third semester. The final semester is dedicated to a thesis research project associated with one of the participating institutions and potentially external partners. Tuition for 2026/2027 is €18,000 for both EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA students.
