The Master’s programme in Music Performance at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre is designed to develop mature, highly skilled music performers with a distinctive artistic identity. Students deepen their performance expertise, explore musical traditions and interpretation, conduct artistic research, and develop original creative ideas that can contribute to the development of music, culture, and artistic education internationally.
Students can choose from a wide range of specialisations in Vilnius and Klaipėda, including vocal performance, piano, jazz, conducting, chamber music, orchestral instruments, folk instruments, contemporary music, organ, and others. The programme encourages independent concert activity, international exchange, master classes, competitions, interdisciplinary artistic projects, and leadership development.
Graduates can work as music performers, artistic researchers, educators, music-group leaders, and pedagogues in higher education institutions, conservatories, and children’s art schools, while also developing independent creative and professional activities.
