The Research Master’s in Neuroscience at Erasmus University Rotterdam is a full-time, two-year research programme designed to train students to become independent researchers in the rapidly expanding field of neuroscience. The programme combines theoretical academic knowledge with extensive neuroscience research training and prepares students to contribute to biomedical, clinical, and basic neuroscience research.
The programme is a Master of Science taught in English and comprises 120 ECTS. Graduates are prepared for PhD positions in medical fields including neurology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, oncology, psychology, psychiatry, and gerontology, as well as research positions in technology and industry. Tuition for 2026/2027 is €2,694 for EU/EEA students. The listed English-language requirements are IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL computer-based 232.
