The Software Systems Development specialisation is a bachelor’s-level programme focused on preparing software engineers to design and build complex, scalable software systems. Students develop practical knowledge in object-oriented programming, database design, web systems development, cloud infrastructure, software architecture, microservices, design patterns, software testing, and DevOps practices. The programme also covers programming fundamentals, data structures and algorithms, computer networks, operating systems, project management, professional ethics, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a final thesis.
The programme is offered full-time over 3 years. Tuition is €3,078 for EU citizens and €5,500 for non-EU citizens. Applications are accepted all year. Admission requirements are provided by Vilnius College of Design.
