The Bachelor’s programme Sport Studies – track International Sports, Management and Business (ISMB) at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences combines sport with management theory and focuses on the global sports industry. The programme develops skills in entrepreneurship, research, planning, organisation, leadership, and evaluation, while providing three international internships that allow students to gain practical experience alongside their degree.
The curriculum covers marketing, finance, strategic management, event management, sport media, facility management, intercultural communication, and research. During the first two years, students participate in various sports activities to strengthen management and interpersonal skills. In the third year, students choose a specialisation (minor) at AUAS or an international partner university, while the three internships allow students to tailor their studies to their interests and career ambitions.
