Gallmond Personnel Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Manager (f/m/d) on behalf of a renowned client in the financial sector in Frankfurt am Main. This is a senior-level opportunity for an IT security professional who wants to take technical responsibility and contribute to the development and implementation of an effective cybersecurity strategy.
As part of the Cyber Security Management Team, you will take technical responsibility for key security activities and support internal departments in managing cyber detection and protection measures.
Your responsibilities will include vulnerability management, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), incident management, and monitoring change approval processes. You will work closely with business teams, asset owners and other stakeholders to ensure that cybersecurity requirements are effectively implemented.
You will also oversee outsourced services provided by the organization’s main service provider and collaborate with colleagues across different departments to maintain compliance with information security requirements, particularly during internal and external audits.
You have successfully completed a university degree or hold a comparable professional qualification. You bring at least 7 years of professional and/or project experience in IT security and have a strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, methods and procedures.
You are comfortable analyzing complex security challenges and developing practical, well-judged solutions. Previous experience in project and stakeholder management is required, while knowledge of banking or derivatives exchange processes would be an advantage.
You should have knowledge of recognized information security frameworks and standards, including BSI, NIST and ISO 27000, as well as relevant regulatory requirements such as EMIR, DORA and MaRisk.
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, are required for this position.
