Video Editor / Cutter (m/f/d) for Social Media Reels – Part-time Job

beActive KJ GmbH is hiring a Video Editor / Cutter (m/f/d) for Social Media Reels in Berlin. This is a part-time position with approximately 25 working hours per month, with the possibility of additional hours depending on cooperation and workload.

The role focuses on turning existing raw footage into engaging vertical videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The editor will be responsible for producing approximately 25–30 clips per month, including subtitles, zoom-ins, sound design, cover art, and other elements required for effective short-form content.

Candidates should be confident using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve and have experience creating short-form social media content. Strong German language skills are required because the editor will also create subtitles and must avoid spelling errors.

The role requires reliable deadline management, creative input, and an understanding of what makes a short-form video perform well rather than simply look visually attractive. Editors will work according to established guidelines for hooks and messaging while still contributing their own creative ideas.
