Quality Engineer (M/F)-Cugand, France
Job Description
Daan Tech is recruiting a Quality Engineer to implement and develop the company’s quality policy and ensure that purchased and manufactured products comply with applicable regulations, standards and the Quality Management System. The role is based in Cugand, Vendée, and supports the company’s engineering, production and other departments.
The position focuses on operational quality and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include maintaining quality standards currently being implemented under ISO 13485, analysing quality issues, defining and managing corrective actions, organizing internal and external audits, supporting quality documentation, providing technical support to production and support departments, and monitoring regulatory developments relevant to the company’s products.
The Quality Engineer will also help establish a culture of continuous improvement across departments. Duties include conducting field audits, identifying losses of time, energy or raw materials, defining a continuous improvement roadmap with General Management, leading improvement projects, and training and supporting teams in adopting new practices.
Candidates should hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in quality, continuous improvement or quality management, or an engineering degree specializing in these areas. One to three years of experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates are accepted. French and B2-level English are required.
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in quality, continuous improvement or quality management.
- Engineering degree with specialization in quality and/or continuous improvement.
- 1–3 years of experience preferred; entry-level candidates accepted.
- Solid knowledge of quality management tools and methods.
- Solid legal and regulatory foundations in quality.
- Proficiency in Kaizen, Lean, VSM and 5S.
- Knowledge of group facilitation techniques.
- Knowledge of cross-functional project management tools and methods.
- Proficiency in computer, analysis and statistical tools.
- Good level of French, written and spoken.
- English level B2.
