Job Description

Walter is looking for a Stores Manager for its production plant in Soultz-sous-Forêts (67). Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the role is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, inventory management and distribution of materials and consumables required for production.

The Store Manager will ensure stock reliability and component availability while meeting quality, safety and cost requirements. The position also includes supervising store teams and supporting their versatility, improving logistics performance by optimizing costs, flows and storage areas, and coordinating the inventory management strategy for raw materials, consumables and packaging.

Responsibilities also include defining and monitoring minimum, maximum and safety stock levels, organizing the physical receipt and traceability of goods, and ensuring production workshops receive supplies within the required deadlines.

Applicants must have higher education in logistics and 5 years of experience in the field. Team management skills, knowledge of performance indicators and production equipment, computer proficiency and SAP knowledge are required. Fluency in English is required, while German is an asset.
