Job Description

Atuarfik Kilaaseeraq in Maniitsoq is looking for 3–4 teachers to help create a safe, professional, and vibrant school environment, particularly in elementary and middle school, as well as a counseling teacher in special education. The school has approximately 334 students, 18 classes from 1st to 10th grade, 5 special classes, AKT services, and around 40 affiliated teachers.

The school is currently undergoing an extensive renovation, with teaching temporarily organized across several locations in Maniitsoq. Teachers will contribute to teaching, teamwork, joint preparation, clear classroom management, and strong collaboration with parents and colleagues. The school is particularly interested in teachers with an interest in class teacher responsibilities, Danish, English, Greenlandic, mathematics, and physics in 8th grade.

Salary and employment conditions follow the applicable agreement for special fixed-term employment terms. The employment period is a minimum of 3 years, with the possibility of extension. Staff housing may be assigned subject to applicable regulations.
