Job Description

Solvangskolen in Farum is looking for a Danish teacher to join its Mini environment, which brings together grades 0 and 1 as one unified learning environment. You will be the ninth professional in a team consisting of three kindergarten class leaders, three mathematics teachers, and three Danish teachers.

The position carries clear academic responsibility for Danish in your class, particularly in language, reading, and writing. At the same time, you will work closely with colleagues to develop teaching and support the children’s personal, social, and academic development.

The school is looking for a clear, warm, and present adult who can create structure, calm, and recognition for young students. You should have a professional approach to developing the Danish subject, take responsibility for your tasks, contribute to shared work, and be willing to adjust your practice through close collaboration.

Everyday activities include collections across six classes, Theme Thursdays using the surrounding nature, Guided Reading, small-group work, creative themes, and shared processes. The full-time position starts December 1, 2026.
