Job Description

Security Guards Services and Solutions B.V. is looking for a Security Guard in training at Schiphol, combining paid work with an MBO-2 BBL work-study training programme to become a security guard. The role is offered with full-time employment and the possibility of a permanent contract after obtaining the diploma.

The fully funded training lasts a maximum of one year and begins with theory and practical instruction at Schiphol, followed by further theory at the ROC and then a combination of learning and working in practice. During the programme, the salary continues to be paid.

As an airport security officer, you will monitor and report unusual situations, conduct security checks including frisking, X-ray and identity checks, and check travelers, diplomats, VIPs, cabin crew, vehicles, and access passes. You will also assist travelers, employees, and partners and work with colleagues, the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, and Customs.

The gross hourly wage is €19.13, including Schiphol allowance, with additional irregularity allowances for early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Candidates must meet the stated education, language, transport, residence, and screening requirements.
