Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) – Berlin

Mendato GmbH is a Berlin-based software startup developing a B2B SaaS platform for building service providers. The platform helps businesses digitize their processes, streamline daily operations, and manage their work more efficiently.

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer to join our team in Berlin. In this role, you will develop new product features, improve existing functionality, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape the long-term architecture of our software platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new product features
• Improve and maintain existing platform functionality
• Work closely with the team to turn business requirements into technical solutions
• Design and further develop the system architecture
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and technical documentation
• Optimize features for performance, user experience, and scalability
• Participate in technical decisions and long-term product planning
• Use modern AI development tools to improve development efficiency and code quality

Your Profile

You should have solid full-stack development experience, particularly with Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience with modern AI developer tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor is also valuable.

You should be comfortable working with software architecture, clean code principles, testing, cloud-based web applications, GraphQL APIs, and relational SQL databases. Experience with AWS is an advantage.

The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, initiative, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team.

Applicants should have very good German and English language skills and be based in Berlin or willing to regularly work from the Berlin office.
