Job Description

Nakar Hotel is seeking a Maintenance Assistant / Maintenance Technician for its design hotel with 57 rooms, located on Jaime III in Palma de Mallorca.

The role involves handling daily hotel reports, including incidents, complaints, and requests from guests and other departments, as well as completing required daily records. The position is responsible for preventive maintenance of hotel rooms and facilities, checking that installations are functioning correctly, and carrying out daily maintenance and cleaning of the swimming pools and SPA area.

Additional maintenance duties include carpentry, locksmith work, masonry, painting, and assisting other departments when required. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in 4- or 5-star hotels, with experience in electricity, plumbing, masonry, computers, and swimming pools. A Pool Maintenance certificate and a diploma in Legionella prevention and control are also required. Knowledge of languages is valued.

The position is full-time and offered for the whole year, with an initial three-month contract that may be renewed if satisfactory for both parties.
