Job Description
Launchmetrics is seeking a Full Stack Software Development Engineer with React and Node.js expertise to work on Discover, a software area that helps brands monitor their presence and competitors, analyse performance, and identify insights across media, influencers and celebrities.
The role welcomes full remote or hybrid work arrangements. Applicants must be based in Spain, France or Italy and have a work permit to be considered. The position involves building new features from architecture through product delivery, maintaining and refactoring existing features, designing efficient database schemas, and working with product management, designers and QA to create reliable and intuitive features.
The successful candidate will act as a Frontend expert with strong React and Redux expertise while contributing to AI-led improvements, code quality, testing, optimisation and technical documentation. The role requires a Master Degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of relevant full-stack development experience in a SaaS environment using Agile methodologies. Strong React expertise, JavaScript/TypeScript experience, RESTful or GraphQL API experience, and familiarity with modern data platforms or search engines are required. Fluency in English is also required.
Requirements
- Applicants must be based in Spain, France or Italy and have a work permit
- Engineer Degree - Master Degree in Computer Science
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in full-stack development in a SaaS environment with Agile methodologies
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Javascript/Typescript
- Experience with, or strong interest in, AI-assisted development workflows such as Claude or GitHub Copilot
- Strong expertise with React
- Experience building a RESTful API or GraphQL API
- Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, or similar experience with search engines such as ElasticSearch
- Good understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and lifecycle management in large-scale distributed data systems
- Experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented organization
- Ability to adapt, estimate workload, break down tasks, solve problems, self-improve and suggest improvements
- Care about long-term maintainability of the codebase and advocate for refactoring and clean-ups
- Fluent spoken, written and read English
