Job Description
BLP Digital AG is seeking a Software Engineer to join its engineering team working on products for automated document processing. The engineering teams have end-to-end ownership of their products, including understanding the business problems they solve and shaping how the products evolve.
The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into product improvements, designing and developing clean and maintainable software, conducting code reviews, and contributing to technical excellence. The Software Engineer will also help guide technical direction for major initiatives, mentor team members, share knowledge, and continuously improve processes, tools, and team practices.
The technical stack for this role includes Golang, MySQL, Docker images deployed on a Kubernetes cluster in cloud infrastructure using GCS, AWS or Azure, and GitHub CI/CD.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience and at least 3 years of software engineering experience. Strong understanding of software development principles, Clean Code and Clean Architecture, product thinking, ownership, teamwork, efficient communication, and the ability to simplify complex systems are required.
