Network Software Engineer – Senior-Colmenar Viejo, Spain
Job Description
Netadvia is seeking an experienced Network Software Engineer – Senior to join its dynamic team and work with international clients on leading-edge networking technologies. The role focuses on developing network applications for modern networking products, including intelligent network routers, VPNs, and load balancers.
The position involves designing and developing high-performance network applications, validating them through unit and/or integration testing, and preparing user guide documentation. The engineer will also communicate with international clients to gather requirements, solve problems during product integration and testing, and provide regular status updates.
Candidates must have at least five years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering software using the C programming language. A good understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and IPsec, comfort working in a Linux-based development environment, and a good working level of English are required. Experience with DPDK, VPP, Git or Subversion, and bug-tracking systems such as GitLab, Redmine, or Jira is listed as an advantage.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in design, development and delivery using the C programming language.
- Good understanding of networking protocols, e.g., TCP/IP and IPsec.
- Comfortable working in a Linux-based development environment.
- Good working level of English.
