Job Description

Clarion Hotel Oslo is looking for a Banquet Waiter to join its dynamic banquet team. The position is an extrahelp role with a start date to be agreed upon and requires varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. The role focuses on providing attentive customer service and creating positive dining and guest experiences within the hotel’s premium hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities include accurately recording customer orders, including special requests and dietary restrictions, and communicating them correctly to the kitchen. The waiter will also deliver food and drinks promptly, ensure they are served at the correct temperature, check guest satisfaction, answer customer questions or concerns, and maintain good communication with the immediate manager and the rest of the team.

Candidates should have experience in a restaurant or banquet environment and be flexible, reliable and passionate about creating great experiences. Good communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask and comfort working under stress are required. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach are listed as additional advantages.
