Summa Communications is looking for a Kubernetes Engineer to join its growing international team in Málaga. The role focuses on building and maintaining stable, scalable Kubernetes platforms that support development teams across Europe and enable them to build, test, and deploy web, voice, and video applications.
The engineer will build, test, and implement reproducible Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructure, operate and maintain clusters, automate infrastructure processes, and participate in an on-call rotation. The role also includes supporting and training development teams, translating user requirements into platform improvements, and keeping up with developments in containers, application delivery, and CI/CD.
The technology stack includes Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Keycloak, Harbor, Traefik, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Ansible, and Git. The company also uses Infrastructure as Code, GitFlow, and GitOps for release management.
Candidates should have production Kubernetes experience, strong Docker knowledge, development or CI/CD experience, and experience with Ansible and Vagrant or similar tools. Linux expertise, international teamwork, independent decision-making, and a self-steering working style are also required. The position is full-time and offers remuneration depending on knowledge and experience.
