Job Description

Clue is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join its engineering team in Madrid. The role focuses on developing embedded software applications for the aerospace industry and contributing to R&D projects involving advanced software technologies and avionics electronic equipment.

The engineer will work with software, hardware, and systems engineers to design and develop requirements-based applications and deliver reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for Clue products. The position requires strong experience designing, developing, and debugging C applications for embedded systems, along with experience in embedded Linux or RTOS environments across multiple hardware architectures such as ARM and PowerPC.

Experience with Uboot, communication protocol development, Embedded Linux technologies such as Yocto or Buildroot, device drivers, unit testing, and requirements management is considered valuable. A Master’s Degree is also listed as valuable.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and debugging C applications for embedded systems.
  • Experience in GPOS (embedded Linux) or RTOS such as VxWorks or PikeOS.
  • Experience across multiple hardware architectures such as ARM and PowerPC.
  • Knowledge of data interfaces and data buses such as Ethernet and Serial.
  • Experience with Uboot valuable.
  • Experience with communication protocol design and development valuable.
  • Experience with Embedded Linux, such as Yocto or Buildroot valuable.
  • Experience developing device drivers for any OS valuable.
  • Experience with unit testing valuable.
  • Experience with requirements management valuable.
