GCS Malta Job Description
GCS Malta is looking for an Accounts Analyst to join a rapidly growing corporate company in Malta. This permanent position is intended for a candidate who wants to broaden their knowledge and experience within the accounts industry.
The role involves maintaining accounting records for a portfolio of clients, conducting account and bank reconciliations, assisting with the preparation of VAT returns, performing additional related tasks as required and providing reports to the Senior Accountant.
The chosen candidate must hold or be in the process of acquiring accounting qualifications such as ACCA or a degree from the University of Malta. Previous relevant work experience and knowledge of SAGE are considered assets. The candidate should also be proficient in MS Word and MS Excel and have good organizational and administration skills.
The position offers an opportunity to develop accounting knowledge while working with client accounts and supporting senior-level financial reporting activities.
Requirements
- In possession of or in the stages of acquiring accounting qualifications such as ACCA or a Degree from the University of Malta
- Previous relevant work experience is an asset
- Knowledge of SAGE is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Word
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good organizational skills
- Good administration skills
