Job Description
INGEFOR CONSULTORES, SL is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a Technology Development team and contribute to an important client project through direct hire. The role involves planning, developing, maintaining, and improving various tools, as well as participating in the analysis, design, and implementation of new applications and technologies.
The Senior Software Engineer will work within a team of approximately 5 members and serve as a technical reference point for the team’s technical profiles. The position also involves proposing improvements for the continued development of the department and company. Strong knowledge of software architecture, programming practices, agile methodologies, CI/CD, and version control is required.
Essential technologies include Python, Ruby, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Git, GitHub, MySQL, and SQL. Desired knowledge includes Next.js, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, React or Angular, relational and non-relational databases, cloud services, testing, IAC, UI/UX, and development tools such as VSCode, IntelliJ, or PyCharm. Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience for the Senior Software Engineer role.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience.
- Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience is not essential.
- Solid knowledge of software architecture and good programming practices.
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Knowledge of CI/CD.
- Experience with code versioning systems such as Git.
- Fluent English B2 is not essential.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of Ruby.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
- Knowledge of Git and GitHub.
- Knowledge of MySQL and SQL.
- Knowledge of Next.js and TypeScript is desired, with priority indicated for the full-stack framework.
- Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails is desired and dispensable.
- Knowledge of React or Angular is a plus.
- Experience using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with non-relational databases.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD.
- IAC knowledge.
- Basic experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Basic knowledge of interface design and user experience.
- Experience with IDEs such as VSCode, IntelliJ, or PyCharm.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Interest in developing management-level skills.
