Software Engineer-Gothenburg, Sweden
Job Description
Omegapoint is looking for experienced Software Engineers to work at the forefront of cyber-secure digitalization and help develop secure digital services. The role is suited to developers with a strong interest in the combination of software development and security, including knowledge of secure application development and the ability to discuss topics such as the OWASP Top 10.
The position requires 5+ years of developer experience, 1–3 years of work experience with cloud platforms, and an academic degree or equivalent. Omegapoint is also looking for technical problem solvers who are curious about AI and new technologies and willing to test new approaches and share knowledge with colleagues.

Fluent spoken and written Swedish is required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a developer
- 1–3 years of work experience in cloud platforms
- Academic degree or equivalent
- Fluent spoken Swedish
- Fluent written Swedish
- Interest in the combination of development and security
- Ability to explain the OWASP Top 10 to developers
- Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses in sample code and respond to this in the application
- Technical problem-solving skills
- Broad perspective on software development and security
- Curiosity about AI and new technology
- Willingness to test new ways of working and share insights with others
