Fullstack Developer React / Java (all genders)
Job Description
VEDA GmbH is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join its Software Development team and contribute to the further development of VEDA Horizon time & security, a core HR solution for automated employee time tracking and related services. The role offers hybrid working and can be performed from Alsdorf, Leipzig, Offenburg, or through mobile working/home office/remote options.
As part of an agile development team, you will work across the full technology stack, from front end to database. Your responsibilities include independently developing the software in coordination with the team, extending its open-source technology foundation, developing automated tests and documentation, implementing projects with stakeholders, and supporting knowledge sharing through code reviews and pair programming.
The position is available on a part-time or full-time basis with flexible working hours. VEDA offers 30 days of vacation, hybrid working, flextime, childcare subsidy, further training programs, company events, and support for JobRad and the Germany ticket. The position is indefinite and available from now on.
Requirements
- Professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong team spirit and passion for developing software solutions.
- Proficiency with Java 8 or higher.
- Proficiency with Spring Framework (SpringBoot).
- Proficiency with Hibernate.
- Proficiency with SQL.
- Proficiency with Maven.
- Proficiency with React.
- Proficiency with TypeScript.
- Experience with MaterialUI or another component library is preferred.
- Very good German skills.
- Good English skills.
- Willingness to empower other team members and share knowledge.
