AI/ML Computational Scientist Manager (All Genders)
Job Description
Accenture is seeking an AI/ML Computational Scientist Manager to design, build, and operationalize AI and machine learning solutions for enterprise clients. The role covers the full solution lifecycle, including assessing client needs and data, selecting and customizing Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models, and developing scalable data, MLOps, and LLMOps pipelines for training and production.
The position involves developing machine learning algorithms and computational systems, working with large-scale datasets, and applying AI/ML solutions across cloud, edge device, and high-performance computing environments. The role also includes research and development of AI and high-performance computing algorithms, models, and simulations, as well as collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to integrate solutions into production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Proven experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist deploying models in production at scale
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, automatic bug filing, and auditing
- Considerable experience in computer system architecture, system engineering, and programming
- Experience with distributed computing systems and architecture
- Experience with big data, high-performance computing, engineering simulations, scientific computing, grid/cloud computing, or distributed networks
- Experience building and deploying AI/ML-based software to a cloud environment
- Proficiency in Python and Python-based AI/ML frameworks
- Familiarity with libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Experience working with LLM APIs and optimizing their usage for specific applications
- Experience with Python, C++, Java, R, and SQL
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong client-facing skills in a consulting environment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity and passion for emerging technology and innovation
- MS or PhD in a related field preferred, such as computer science or engineering
