Job Description

Graitec is hiring a Data Analyst for a full-time position in Bucharest, Romania. The role focuses on transforming data into actionable business insights to support strategic decision-making, improve reporting, and measure business performance across the organization.

Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple business sources; developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations; translating business requirements into key performance indicators (KPIs); and identifying trends, risks, patterns, and opportunities. The successful candidate will also support stakeholders with data-driven recommendations, ensure reporting accuracy, automate recurring analytical processes, and use AI-powered analytics tools to improve efficiency.

Additional duties include documenting reports and data definitions, supporting data governance and quality improvement, collaborating with business teams, and presenting findings to management and other stakeholders.

Applicants should have 3–5+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, reporting, or business intelligence. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, advanced Excel skills, strong SQL knowledge, and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools are required. Excellent English communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills are also important.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data services, Python or R, AI-powered analytics, and predictive analytics is considered an advantage.

The advertised annual on-target earnings range is RON 200,000–RON 250,000, with a target variable pay mix of 10%. The employer notes that the final salary offer may vary according to the candidate’s location, seniority, and competencies.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Reporting, or Business Intelligence roles
  • Strong experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis techniques
  • Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Experience translating business requirements into analytical outputs
  • Ability to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from data
  • Experience presenting analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative mindset
