FLO AS Job Description
FLO AS is seeking an Assistant Brewer for a permanent, full-time position at its production facility in Sollihøgda, outside Oslo. The role supports Brewers in the daily production of beverages and is suited to someone who is precise, dependable, curious and interested in developing practical beverage-production skills.
Responsibilities include preparing and weighing ingredients, assisting with brewing and blending according to recipes and SOPs, operating and monitoring production equipment, measuring production data such as temperature, pH, Brix, ABV and carbonation levels, and maintaining accurate batch records. The role also involves cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures, following hygiene, food safety and HSE procedures, using PPE when handling chemicals, and supporting filling, packaging and other production activities.
Relevant education in brewing, beverage production, food science, food technology or a similar field is an advantage but is not required. FLO states that the right person can be trained on the job. Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in Norway. The current working hours are 10:00–18:00, with occasional variations depending on production needs.
Requirements
- - Good eye for detail and ability to do things properly
- - Enjoys practical, hands-on work
- - Understands the importance of hygiene and following established procedures
- - Comfortable standing, walking, lifting and moving ingredients and containers of different weights
- - Comfortable using a tablet and/or PC
- - Willing to support Brewers and production team activities
- - Curious, willing to learn and comfortable asking questions
- - Enjoys working as part of a team
- - Legal right to live and work in Norway
- - Relevant education in brewing, beverage production, food science, food technology or a similar field is an advantage, but not a requirement
- - Access to a car is strongly recommended
