WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE
- You will assist in the creation and revision of technical drawings.
- With your creative eye, you color the collection in Illustrator and Photoshop.
- You will assist in the development of inspiring Miroboards that reflect the vision of our collections.
- You will support the team in trend research and brainstorming ideas for prints and designs for new collections.
- You will accompany the team in the creation of collection-relevant allover and placement prints, checks, stripes and trims for Marc O’Polo Women & Men.
- You will gain insights into the workflows and processes of division management.
- You will assist in planning and executing collection presentations that perfectly showcase our designs.
- You are an important part of the entire collection development process – from sampling and commenting on the prototypes to the finished salesman sample.
- You will participate in meetings as part of the collection process (e.g., concept meetings, form & fabric, prototype/sales meetings and fittings).
- You organize, prepare, and manage our Salesman Samples.
- You will work as an interface between design and product management, and in close coordination with production purchasing.
WHO YOU ARE
- There is the possibility of a mandatory internship or a voluntary internship, therefore: You have started or successfully completed studies in the field of design or textile technology, or a comparable qualification.
- Design is your passion – and premium fashion your great love.
- You have a keen sense for trends, materials, colors and proportions.
- You think creatively and innovatively – and are careful and structured in your implementation.
- You are communicative, a team player, and possess excellent organizational skills.
You identify with Marc O’Polo’s aesthetic and the brand’s commitment to quality.
- You are proficient in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and have already worked with a PDM system – ideally with TexDefine from Koppermann.
- With your work, you want to contribute to realigning the clothing industry for the future and focusing on sustainable issues.
