Job Description

Ortec Group is recruiting a Road and Utility Network Mason (M/F) in Saint-Nazaire. Reporting to the sector manager, the role involves maintenance and repair work on sanitation networks, including wastewater and stormwater systems, both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities include renovating interior and exterior building drainage systems, installing rainwater and wastewater pipes, installing and repairing EU/EP networks, excavating using construction equipment or by hand, and creating openings or access points for corrective and preventive maintenance. The position also includes various masonry activities related to utilities and infrastructure.

The role is offered on a permanent contract with a 37.5-hour working week plus RTT. The schedule is Monday to Friday with no weekend work. Compensation is €23,000 to €28,000 per year, with meal allowances, overtime pay, a 13th month, bonuses, profit-sharing, employee stock ownership plan bonus, and group health insurance.

A Category B driving licence is essential. A CACES mini-excavator licence is an asset. Experience or knowledge in building finishing work or public works, including masonry, plumbing, or network installation, is valued.
