Halsnæs Municipality is looking for a trained social and health worker (SSH) for a permanent day-shift position supporting elderly citizens. The role focuses on holistic care, self-determination, continuity, and interdisciplinary teamwork within permanent citizen mini-teams.
Your primary responsibilities include personal care, practical assistance, and rehabilitative tasks based on each citizen’s own resources. You will also help maintain continuity and security for elderly citizens, observe changes in their health condition, document professionally in the care system, and collaborate daily with nurses, social and health assistants, and therapists.
The position offers fixed day shifts of approximately 30–37 hours per week, with weekend work covering 5 or 6 weekends within 12 weeks. New graduates are welcome and will receive an introduction and training in work procedures and the new framework for the Elderly Act. The expected total salary is DKK 28,529.08–32,840.58 plus annual basic salary step for a 37-hour employment per month, excluding pension, depending on experience and skills.
