GCS Malta Job Description
GCS Malta is looking for a Structural Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading architectural companies. This is a permanent position for a candidate with previous experience in structural engineering and related project work.
The role involves participating in structural design development, preparing structural and civil engineering drawings, supervising on-site works and certifying completed works. The Structural Engineer will also produce structural assessments, calculations, layouts and tender documentation, including BOQs and specifications, while supporting the delivery of diverse and high-impact projects.
The ideal candidate must be a warranted engineer and hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification, together with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in Malta. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required. Strong teamwork and meticulous skills are also essential.
Strong communication skills in English are required, while knowledge of Maltese is considered a plus.
