Birralee International School is seeking a Teaching, Learning & ASP Assistant for a permanent part-time position in Trondheim. The role is a 65.27% position with working hours from 08:30 to 14:30 during school weeks only. The starting date is as soon as practicable, by agreement.
The assistant will work with whole classes, small groups and individual students as required, support learning in the classroom, promote students’ social and emotional development and undertake assigned duties. The school is looking for someone who relates well to children, is passionate about helping them achieve academically and socially, and can remain patient, caring, calm and objective when dealing with challenging behaviours.
Applicants should be enthusiastic about improving learning outcomes, committed to teamwork and able to work alongside class teachers to improve learning and inclusion. A relevant vocational qualification in child and youth care is desirable.
