Job Description
Eiffage Métal is recruiting a Project Manager / Business Engineer to support the development of its Trévoux agency and strengthen its proximity to major clients in the Lyon region and the Alps. The position combines project management, business management, coordination of human and contractual interfaces, and oversight of technical aspects.
The role includes preparing sales proposals, managing business activities, supervising sites, coordinating execution studies, developing project schedules, launching consultations, and organizing manufacturing and subcontracted services. The Project Manager will also coordinate methods and assembly activities, monitor construction projects, organize teams, ensure compliance with site safety regulations, and manage communication with clients and partners.
The position is also responsible for economic performance, including budget monitoring, reporting and analysis of remaining expenses. Contract management includes monitoring and negotiating change orders and new prices in coordination with the Group’s contract management department. Projects involve multidisciplinary technical areas such as metalwork, mechanics, hydraulics, control systems and anti-corrosion protection.
The role is based in Trévoux, with regular regional travel and occasional national travel.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) or Engineering degree.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management.
- Experience in construction and business management is highly valued.
- Ability to synthesize information and take a proactive approach.
- Critical analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Technical versatility and ability to communicate with subcontractors and design offices.
- Experience in contract management and site supervision.
- Knowledge of prospecting and customer relations.
- Leadership, rigor and a strong sense of anticipation.
