KPMG is looking for a Senior Consultant IT Audit for a hybrid position in Amstelveen. The role focuses on IT Assurance, where the consultant coordinates and executes assignments and helps clients assess, manage, and resolve IT-related risks across different organizations and sectors.
Responsibilities include guiding consultants, maintaining strong client and project-team relationships, identifying and communicating IT findings to senior management, and advising clients on IT-related risks and challenges such as cybercrime, privacy, cloud computing, and ERP migrations. The role also involves planning and executing IT audit engagements, conducting IT risk analyses, evaluating technology controls, and assessing the reliability and security of IT systems and application controls.
Candidates should have a completed relevant bachelor’s and/or master’s degree, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and a completed or ongoing qualification such as Registered EDP Auditor (RE), CISA, CISM, or CIPP. Excellent spoken and written Dutch is essential. The position offers a gross monthly salary of €3,965–€5,050, depending on work experience.
Requirements
- Relevant completed bachelor's and/or master's degree
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience as an IT auditor, IT risk manager, IT consultant, or accountant with a strong affinity for IT
- Completed post-master's program to become a Registered EDP Auditor (RE), or comparable qualification such as CISA, CISM, or CIPP
- Currently following one of these qualification programs or willingness to start is also accepted
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch, both verbal and written
- Critical, proactive, and professional team player
