Job Description
Specshell ApS is looking for a skilled Software Engineer to help make its software more scalable and customer-focused. The role is part of a start-up-minded company with 25 employees working to automate the brewing and bioethanol industries. Specshell has a cloud-first mindset and works with a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, software engineers, hardware engineers, sales specialists, and biochemical process specialists.
The position involves working with a technology stack including Docker, Windows, Linux, .NET, C#, F#, Blazor, and GitHub. Experience with event-based microservices, CI/CD, and testing throughout the software development lifecycle is desired. Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Grafana, Influx DB, or MongoDB is also welcomed.
The company values teamwork through pair and swarm programming, knowledge sharing through reviews and documentation, and willingness to take on multiple roles. The position is based at the company’s facilities in Ballerup, close to Malmparken S-train station, with good possibilities for working from home and flexible working hours.

Requirements
- Comfortable working with Docker, Windows, Linux, .NET, C#, F#, Blazor, and GitHub
- Proficient in English
- Experience in building and designing event-based microservices
- Knowledge about CI/CD
- Knowledge about testing in all aspects of the SDLC
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Python, Grafana, Influx DB, or MongoDB
- Ability to work in pair- and swarm programming
- Willingness to share knowledge through reviews and documentation
- Willingness to take on multiple roles besides the primary role
